The state of Arizona was a close one during the last Presidential Election. Biden inexplicably beat Trump by less than 11,000 votes. We have learned since the night of November 3, 2020, over 19,000 votes counted even though they came in after the state’s legal deadline.

Weeks before the primaries, reports from counties throughout the state showied mistakes in the mail-in balloting system. Ballots were issued to people who didn’t live in the county the Ballot was assigned.

Candidates were left off the Ballot and incorrect addresses were on the Ballot. Some 63,000 mail ballots suffered these mistakes.

Two issues dominated the campaigns in Arizona. Voting integrity and the Biden-created southern border crisis. Jim Lamon, a United States Army veteran, is hoping his border message carries well with Republicans in the state.

According to Newsmax.com, Lamon said he will shut down the Senate to stop the border invasion. He hints at being a disruptive force on Capitol Hill in 2023 if the Biden administration does not take care of the “invasion” at the United States-Mexico border.

Lamon’s main opponent in the Republican Primary is Blake Masters, a Pro-Trump Republican who has been very vocal about the border crisis. From Biden’s first moments in office, Masters has been preaching the need to close the border.

A third candidate, Mark Brnovich, was the early favorite for the Republican Party. He was that state’s attorney general who oversaw the election disaster of 2020. When news broke about all the irregularities and late voting, his lead shrunk to third in the polls.

The Trafalgar Group’s polls are showing Masters with a big lead.

The winner of the Republican Primary will take on incumbent Mark Kelly, a former astronaut. Kelly was elected in 2020 and ran on being a moderate Democrat. However, he has voted with Biden one hundred percent of the time.

Early polls pitting Masters against Kelly, show Kelly with a slight advantage over the Republican challenger. The lead though, is tenuous at best.

It is one reason why the Biden Administration is now quietly completing a piece of Trump’s border wall. The immigration crisis is devastating the state of Arizona. Voters are likely to choose a candidate with a plan to deal with that.

Biden and the team are concerned about losing Kelly’s Senate seat so they have agreed to finish the wall which will be Kelly. They are keeping it quiet because it will hurt other candidates in their races.

There are Democrats in more progressive states who are happy that Biden threw open the border gates. They don’t care if it created a humanitarian crisis here in the United States. To them, people coming across the border vote. Even though they can’t vote.

Jim Lamon may be trying one last tactic by declaring he will shut down the Senate to shut down the southern border. In the end, it may not be enough to overcome Blake Masters. If it isn’t, Lamon’s campaign will be shut down.
